Chief Executive Officer
Bruce is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience managing international businesses for multinational corporations. As CEO, Bruce sets the business goals and drives Dejero’s strategic direction. He is also responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the continued expansion of the company’s customer base and global presence. Having lived and worked in various countries around the world, Bruce has steered many corporations to success – helping to re-align business goals and exceed profitability targets.
Bruce holds an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa, is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and is an international member of the South African Public Auditors and Accountants Board.
As founder of Dejero, Bogdan is responsible for the strategic direction and vision of Dejero’s innovative technology as well as forging and nurturing strong relationships with customers and partners. After spending five years travelling with journalists covering election campaigns, he founded Dejero to develop and commercialize a mobile broadcasting platform to overcome the limitations and high cost of traditional newsgathering technology. Bogdan began his career at Research In Motion (now BlackBerry) and has founded several start-up ventures.
Chief Technology Officer
Todd is an entrepreneurial business and technical leader with extensive experience defining and launching new products and businesses. He joined Dejero in June 2012 as COO and moved to the CTO role in April 2017. As CTO, Todd is responsible for product/technology strategy and development, IP creation, technology partnerships, IT operations, and regulatory activities. He loves solving thorny technology and product challenges.
Prior to Dejero, Todd co-founded Dspfactory, an innovator in digital signal processing technology. As part of the leadership team, he led the company through the successful acquisition by AMI Semiconductor and integration into ON Semiconductor, where he held various technical and product line leadership roles. Todd holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree and a Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering both from the University of Waterloo, located in Waterloo, Ontario.
Chief Financial Officer
Kyle Roffey joined Dejero in July of 2015. He brings deep expertise in financial management and executive leadership of organizations in dynamic growth environments. Kyle is responsible for guiding and managing all aspects of Dejero’s strategic financial direction. Prior to Dejero, Kyle held accounting and finance roles across a diverse range of industries including technology, agribusiness, manufacturing, and public accounting. Kyle is a chartered professional accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, located in Waterloo, Canada.
Vice President, Sales
Kevin Fernandes joined Dejero in 2017 and leads the global sales team as Vice President of Sales. He brings 15 years experience working with audio and video customers to develop and support equipment for broadcast, medical, and industrial markets. Prior to Dejero, Kevin held various senior level B2B sales roles with a focus on connecting clients with the right solutions to fulfill their business needs. Kevin holds a Bachelors in Computer Engineering and Masters of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University, located in Hamilton, Ontario.
Vice President, Marketing
Richard McClurg leads Dejero’s product management, product marketing, and communications team as Vice President of Marketing. Richard joined Dejero in September 2013 to support the company’s global growth. Prior to Dejero, Richard held marketing and strategic planning roles spanning multiple B2B sectors, from start-ups to global enterprises. Richard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, located in Waterloo, Ontario.
Director, People and Culture
In her role as Director of People and Culture, Christine is responsible for creating and driving programs and services that deliver on Dejero’s people strategy, provide an exceptional employee experience, as well as continuing to grow and develop the culture at Dejero. Prior to joining Dejero, Christine held a diverse range of human resources, advisor, and project management-focused roles in the not-for-profit, regulatory body, and technology sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Conestoga College, and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL). Christine is active within the Waterloo Region community – serving as the President on the Board of Directors for a local charitable organization and as a mentor to junior HR professionals.
