Description:

When using a Dejero CuePoint with a GateWay, traffic from ports 49160 – 49200 must be forwarded to the CuePoint’s internal IP address. The steps below outline the procedure necessary to configure a GateWay using the default settings.

1. Configure the CuePoint to have a static IP
   1. Connect a keyboard and monitor to the CuePoint
   2. Log into the CuePoint with the username user and the password dejero
   3. Using the arrow keys, move the cursor to the desired network interface, either eth0 or eth1 and press ENTER
      
      Note: eth0 is the rightmost ethernet port and eth1 is the leftmost ethernet port. The port above the USB ports is not active and will not work
   4. If there are no Address or Gateway fields, cursor down to Change to Static IP and press ENTER
   5. In the Address field enter 100.64.0.20/24
   6. In the Gateway field enter 100.64.0.1
   7. In the first DNS field enter 8.8.8.8
   8. In the second DNS field enter 8.8.4.4
   9. Select [Submit]
      
   10. Select Close
   11. Reboot the CuePoint by pressing the power button to turn it off, then pressing the power button to turn it back on
2. Ensure that the GateWay has a public-facing static IP.
   1. Open control.dejero.com
   2. Click on the magnifying glass in the top left corner
   3. Enter the GateWay’s serial number
   4. Select the GateWay’s serial number
   5. Select the Information tab
      
   6. Verify that an IP address is listed in the Static Public IP field
      1. If there is no IP address or the Static Public IP field is not listed, please contact your Dejero Sales Representative to request a static public IP. Note that there may be additional costs.
3. Forward inbound traffic on ports 49160 – 49200 to the CuePoint
   1. Open control.dejero.com
   2. Click on the magnifying glass in the top left corner
   3. Enter the GateWay’s serial number
   4. Select the GateWay’s serial number
   5. Select the Routing tab
   6. Select Edit
   7. Ensure that Port Forwarding is selected under Forwarding Mode
   8. Select Add Rule
   9. From the dropdown under Protocol select UDP
   10. In the field under Redirect IP enter 100.64.0.20
   11. Under Port Range enter 49160
   12. Press TAB to move to the next field and enter 49200
   13. Under Redirect Port Range enter 49160
   14. Press TAB to move to the next field and enter 49200
   15. Select Add Rule
   16. From the dropdown under Protocol select TCP
   17. In the field under Redirect IP enter 100.64.0.20
   18. Under Port Range enter 49160
   19. Press TAB to move to the next field and enter 49200
   20. Under Redirect Port Range enter 49160
       
   21. Press TAB to move to the next field and enter 49200
   22. Select SAVE
   23. Test CuePoint functionality

Note: If the GateWay has been configured to use a different network space than 100.64.0.0/24 then change the above IP addresses accordingly
