Description:
Port Forwarding is a feature that can be enabled on a GateWay that has a public static IP assigned to its GateWay Cloud Service. This feature allows traffic going to the GateWay Cloud Service’s public static IP to be routed to various Redirect IPs which are used by devices that are connected to the GateWay.
Additional Information:
Enabling Port Forwarding
- In Control, click Manage > GateWay.
- Select the desired GateWay
- Click the Routing tab.
- In the upper-right corner of the tab, click EDIT
- In the Forwarding Mode drop-down list, select Port Forwarding.
- Perform the following actions:
- In the Protocol drop-down list, select the transfer protocol to use.
- Set the Redirect IP field.
- Specify the Port Range and the Redirect Port Range fields. The difference specified in
each range must be the same. For example, if you set the Port Range fields to 5001 and
5006 (a difference of 6 ports), you must specify a difference of 6 ports for the Redirect Port
Range field (such as 6001 and 6006). - To add another forwarding rule, click ADD RULE. Repeat the above steps to configure any additional rules.
- Click SAVE
Disabling Port Forwarding
- In Control, click Manage > GateWay.
- Select the desired GateWay
- Click the Routing tab.
- In the upper-right corner of the tab, click EDIT
- Click REMOVE beside the rule to be removed.
- Click SAVE
