The Booster is an ideal companion to Dejero portable transmitters. It is a vehicle-mounted device that uses an array of up to 12 high-gain antennas to boost performance.
It enables mobile news crews to enhance connection reception in difficult transmission scenarios, such as transmitting from congested cellular network areas or from areas where signal reception may be poor.
Paired with Dejero's GoBox, the Booster provides a powerful alternative to traditional satellite or microwave transmissions that may be hindered by adverse weather conditions or line-of-sight obstructions. The transmitter is connected to the booster via USB, effectively turning the news vehicle roof into an antenna array, increasing network reception and providing additional resiliency to the video transmission.
With improved uplink bandwidth for transmitting low-latency, broadcast-quality video, news crews and video production professionals can get the live shot they need, even in extreme situations. The solution excels when broadcasting live from a moving vehicle—particularly when covering storms or traffic reports.
The Booster supports bonding of up to six 3G/4G/LTE network connections and requires nominal power from a 100V to 240V AC inverter in the vehicle.
Booster is part of the Dejero platform that simplifies the remote acquisition, cloud management, and multiscreen distribution of professional live video over IP.
